Unless you've been living under a fashion rock for the past year, we all know the tshirt of the season has been the Gucci logo tee.
Like most of us, I had been lusting over its effortlessly chic design and how it can make wearing a simple white tee so luxe! However, I don't know about you, but my stomach sank at the thought of spending upwards of $500 on a basic white tee, Gucci or not, I just couldn't do it.
Now I know everyone has their opinions on buying fake designer, blah blah blah, but as a woman who loves fashion but does not necessarily have a disposable income to continuously invest in designer pieces I want, sometimes you have to search for alternatives.. Have you guys met my friend eBay?
I should mention, although I knew I was going to buy a fake, I didn't want it to look cheap. I saw plenty of copies out there, but none that looked right. After months of searching I found the one! It was listed as a "Gucci second" piece, how much I believe that is still questionable, however I was happy to pay $90 for this pretty good knock off.
And it is pretty good, definitely not the same material. The original is a softer tee, whereas mine is a bit more stiff. And I got it in probably too small a size, but that's all that was left.
All in all, I'm happy with my "Fucci" and proud of it!
My first styling of the tee was to brunch. I paired it with this oversized khaki trench (I wasn't 100% confident rocking it solo the first time around haha), denim jeans and leopard heels.

What designer piece were you dying to have, but couldn't afford so you found a cheaper alternative?
